From everyone here at Strong Towns, thank you for an amazing year. There are over 1.3 million of you out there reading, listening, and watching our stuff now. A large number of you are going on to share it with others. We’re closing in on 2,800 members, people all over the world who want to support this message and spread it to more people. Wow! Just, wow!

It has now been ten years since I started writing a blog, an obscure little site that was suggesting a different way to think about our the places we live. Today, this powerful movement for change is reaching big city and small town, left-minded and right-minded, old and young alike.

We must make our cities, towns and neighborhoods financially strong and resilient. It’s not a choice. The surest path to prosperity is to make humble investments focused on improving our quality of life. That’s the essence of a Strong Towns approach.

We take a break at the end of each year, to retool and refocus, to spend time with family and friends, to pause and give thanks. Look for us to be back with great stuff after the New Year. I promise you, 2019 is going to be huge for the Strong Towns movement. I’m grateful you are part of it.

In the meantime, may you experience the blessing of renewal and the tidings of love and joy, for the remainder of this year and beyond.
