Meet the Strong Towns Advisory Board

I’m thrilled to introduce you to our new Strong Towns Advisory Board. The vision for this group has been in the works for a couple of years now and we’re glad to finally bring these brilliant leaders together to help strategize and plan for the future of this movement. Take a look at their bios below (you might see some familiar faces) and learn a little about the different communities they come from and backgrounds they bring to the table.

We’ll be convening this group over the coming months to help draft a new strategic plan for Strong Towns and consider key questions like:

  • How do we pursue our work so that it results in action being taken at a large scale—enough to change America?

  • How do we reach more people with our message, especially women, people of color, and conservatives (three groups historically underrepresented in our audience and in the planning field)?

  • What is our role in the political and public policy realm?

  • …and much more!

We also welcome your thoughts on these important questions, so if you’ve been an active member of this movement and care about its future, feel free to get in touch with me and let’s talk. You can reach me at quednau@strongtowns.org.

You can expect to hear more from our advisory board and updates on our collective progress later this year. Thanks for your support of this movement!
